About Pedestrian Research

Safe Kids conducts research projects each year, including secondary research assessments, primary surveys, behavioral observations and environmental assessments that reveal the problems for child pedestrians.

Safe Kids coalitions promote research findings locally and nationally to raise awareness of the dangers and gain support for improvements.

2006

This year, Safe Kids Worldwide coalitions conducted focus groups in communities across the country to gather information to develop more effective pedestrian safety programming aimed at reducing pedestrian related death and injury for those who are most at risk.
